Thought I'd have to throw my pokemon games away when they stopped saving, but thankfully I found this first.

I'm not a stranger to a soldering iron, but I wouldnt describe myself as a "pro" by any means. Either way - changing this part is about as simple as it gets, given that it needs soldering.

Definitely recommend. My pokemon saves every time now, no more lost save games. I might even buy some more and change them for the games that arent yet flat, so that I can be sure I wont lose the games later!
