This kit contains the following:
- Thumbsticks x 2
- D-pad x 1
- Buttons x 4
in the colour stated.
Fitting is fairly easy. Tips:
ps3: Be careful of the rumble motor wires. If they snap off, you can solder them back on, but best if they stay on so support them when removing the board. When reassembling, it's easier to insert R1/R2 button after you put the case back on, they click in.
ps2: You may find the thumbsticks a little low down on the ps2, they might catch on the mechanism. Easily resolved by "shimming" with paper or something in the holes, to raise them up. Insert the shoulder buttons after reassembling the case (click them in) to avoid problems.
ps1: Be gentle, prise the parts out, it's easier if you try to fit the new parts without disassembling/removing the board, just tilt it out of the way.
The only tool required but not provided is a small + tip screwdriver.
